It was a beautiful day for a race in Darlington, South Carolina on Friday for the LiftKits4Less.com 200.
Sporting a Michael Waltrip Country Time Lemonade throwback paint scheme, Danny Bohn started out in p.27. The race was slowed by 12 cautions (a Darlington Raceway record for a single truck race) and a 17-truck incident in the final stage. After spinning out of the top 10 on lap 142, Danny Bohn rallied back for a top 20 finish, coming in 18th.
In the words of Danny himself, “The lady in black was too tough for me to tame and she got me toward the end of the race. I was extremely happy with the speed we showed and the race that we ran, we just came up a little short. Looking forward to Charlotte.”
