Danny and the On Point Motorsports team stuck to the plan and landed an 8th place finish this weekend at Talladega. With more than 20 trucks involved in multiple accidents, Danny played it smart and stayed back to steer clear of the mess. He avoided the overaggressive driving that is typical for Talladega and in the end it paid off as he grabbed his second top 10 of the season.
Regarding the tough race, Danny said “We dodged a few bullets throughout the day but got a little wounded at the end. We were P8 at the line with a rf flat. Looking forward to my favorite track next on the schedule!” Martinsville is set for Saturday, October 30th at 1 PM.
