NAMC at Bristol Motor Speedway

First dirt-track race in decades

For the first time in two decades, Bristol Motor Speedway hauled in 23,000 cubic yards of dirt for the races.

It’s Bristol (dirt) baby! After a wet, rainy weekend filled with delays, the races finally got underway on Monday afternoon. Danny Bohn, our driver of the No.30 Truck was so excited to be back on dirt as that’s where his career started in his modified days. Starting off p25, Danny was gaining positions making the top 20 when on lap 99, the No. 44 truck had heavy contact with us, causing an early end to our race. Danny ended in p36 and we are looking forward to the next race in Richmond, VA on April 17th. At least we did dirt in style.  Photos: Danny Hansen / HMEDIA
